Girl Scout badges, patches, awards, and other insignia should be presented, worn, or displayed only after Girl Scouts have completed the requirements outlined in the appropriate program materials.
Girl Scouts at each level have one required element (Tunic, Sash or Vest) for the display of official pins and awards which will be required when girls participate in ceremonies or officially represent the Girl Scout Movement.
Our troop is aiming towards a 100% fully uniformed troop. Priced by our local council, the whole uniform plus the Brownie Handbook and Try-Its Book will cost $100. Cookie Bucks can be used towards the purchase of uniforms or other items in our council shop, however, they cannot be used when purchasing a uniform through the troop.

Because of our very successful Cookie Sales from last year, we decided as a troop to purchase the starter pack for every girl in our troop. This includes the vest, all insignia that goes on the front of the vest, and a Journey book. We will "reimburse" the troop with our Fall Nut & Magazine Sales with a goal to sell 35-50 items per girl.
